LESLIE NEMO

Hello, I'm Leslie Nemo, a journalist who writes about the intersection of science, culture and the environment. My work has appeared in Scientific American, The Atlantic, Undark, CityLab, Science, Atlas Obscura, Audubon and more.

I have a M.S. in Science, Health and Environmental Reporting from New York University. Before that, I earned a B.S. in both human physiology and anthropology at the University of Iowa. And before that, I was the tall girl in the back of class pictures whose transition lenses were still dark when the photo was taken.

If I'm not writing, I'm snacking. Find me on Twitter or email me at nemoleslie at gmail dot com
